Booboo Stewart For Uriah in ‘Divergent’? + Pics From Teens For Jeans Event (January 8th)!

Well I guess we all are very aware of the fuss about the weight loss of our hearty Booboo Stewart. Just so you know its all about his new role of Uriah in Divergent.

Booboo Stewart and Kelli Berglund step out at the DoSomething.org and Aeropostale launch of the 2013 “Teens For Jeans” event held at Palihouse on Tuesday night (January 8th) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The two were joined by Booboo‘s sister Fivel and Pretty Little Liars star Brendan Robinson.

Booboo‘s name has been floating around the world wide web for the role of Uriah in Divergent, with Shailene Woodley.

Uriah is described as a “tall and handsome, with brown skin and dark eyes and of Middle Eastern descent. His smile looks white against his bronze skin. There is a tattoo of a snake behind his ear, its tail curls around his earlobe. He has another tattoo right above the waistband of his pants.”

I personally LOVED these books and would really love to see Booboo snag the role! He just seems like such a huge sweetheart who will always use his name for good. He’s a true humanitarian–not only that, he just DOES fit the description of the role perfectly!

Interview with Booboo Stewart for Captivate Magazine!!

CM - You are officially the youngest cover story for Captivate Magazine! You turned eighteen earlier this year. Did you do anything special to celebrate?​​
​BBS - Wow! I didn't know that. It's an honor to be the youngest cover--and not really--I spent it with my family, pretty low key

CM - Being apart of such a huge Box Office Franchise like, The Twilight Saga, how has it changed your life for the good and the bad?
BBS - Well it's so far been all good--I have been all over the world, met amazing people and there are so many more opportunities for me now.

CM - What have you learned, as a young actor, being on the set of such a huge Franchise?
BBS - I have learned how to deal with the down time (Laughs)

CM - How has your character developed since, Breaking Dawn Part 1? 
BBS - Well I think he is still the same guy, just wants everyone to get along
​
CM - Do you hang out with any of the Twilight cast outside of set?
BBS - Not really, we are all busy in our own careers

CM - Have you gotten used to screaming girls and over zealous fans or is it still something unfamiliar?
BBS - (Laughs) I don't think you really ever get used to it

CM - What is a "fan moment" that stands out to you that you have recently experienced? ​
BBS - It would be hard to single one out--the fans are so dedicated and nice, I am always amazed.

CM - Do you have any celebrity crushes of your own?
BBS - Zooey Deschanel

CM - Are there any directors or actors/actresses you would like to work with in the future?
BBS - Oh yeah, a bunch directors- Paul Thomas Anderson, Chuck Russell, Michael Bay, --I just met Bryan Singer he was great. Actors -Jim Caviezel, Joaquin Phoenix, Heath Ledger if he was still alive -what a loss.

CM - Are there any future projects you have in the works that you are liberty to speak about?
BBS - Well I have a few films coming out this spring--White Frog, Running Deer and Space Warriors--and I am about to go into production on The Well

CM - Aside from acting, what other crafts do you practice?
BBS - I have been putting together a comic book I am illustrating

CM - When you're not working, what do you do in your spare time?
BBS - Play guitar and drums and watch movies.

CM - What kind of music do you have in your ipod?
BBS - all kinds

CM - We understand that philanthropy is very important to you - which causes do you support?
BBS - Child Help and the Los Angeles Mission are two of the main ones.

CM - Out of all the television and movies you have done, which Tv show or movie was the most fun to work on?
BBS - I would say White Frog because my character was so interesting and involved

CM - What was the last compliment you received from a woman?
BBS - 'you're nice' I guess

CM - What are turn offs when it comes to women?
BBS - I don't like it when someone eats with their mouth open

CM - What part of your body do you get the most compliments? 
BBS - I guess my stomach.

BBS - A great smile and personality.

Booboo Stewart to Promote ‘White Frog’ at Hawaii International Film Festival!!

Booboo will be attending the Hawaii International Film Festival to promote his film White Frog which is scheduled for release sometime in 2013!

Booboo will attend the 32nd Annual Hawaii International Film Festival for the premiere of the movie ‘White Frog’ on October 18, 2012. The movie will premiere Thursday, October 18,  2012 at 9:00 PM at the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 in Honolulu, HI.

'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Promo Schedule!!

According to Deadline, we can expect a long 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' promo with Rob visiting Australia in late October, promo in the US in November and England, Spain and Germany after the LA Premiere.

ETA:  Rob will be in Sydney on Oct 22nd, 2012.

As part of the Sydney only tour later this month, Robert will be participating in media interviews to support the NOVEMBER 15 release of the film, and will appear at a fan event on Monday 22nd October, details of which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Boo Boo Stewart joins cast of ‘Intrepid’ (New photos & Interview)!!

Booboo joins INTREPID alongside Brittany Curran, Jason Brooks and many more. Booboo's father Nils Stewart is stunt coordinator and producer.

According to a synopsis from Intrepid’s website :

INTREPID is an unstoppable contemporary sci-fi action film featuring Booboo Stewart (Twilight) as the lead. INTREPID draws the audience with a compelling story, fantastic talent, incredible action choreography, and a visual language that will set the standard for 21st century film!

BOP&TB: Can you tell us a little bit about your new movie Intrepid? We saw the pictures, it looks really exciting! 

Booboo Stewart: Thank you. Intrepid revolves around a boy named Phoenix who’s determined to turn around his own fate. And the way that he does that is when he’s in a near-death situation, all the outcomes of each action he will take branch out in front of him so he can choose. That’s pretty much what the story’s about, and just the kind of commotion he gets into using those powers to save the people he loves.

BOP&TB: Cool! How did you get involved with that project?

Booboo Stewart: I got involved because I started training in tae kwon do and one of my instructor’s students is the director of Intrepid. We just kind of met up like that, so I get to use my martial arts training in the little tai chi we’re doing.

BOP&TB: Did you get to do, like, your own stunts in the movie?

Booboo Stewart: I did, I did. Most of the time I can’t even do my own stunts but so far, all the fighting I got to do. It was really fun, I was so sore the next day. We really gave it, like, one hundred percent.

BOP&TB: How has working on Intrepid been different from working on Twilight, where a lot of the time when you would be fighting and doing stunts it’s not really you, it’s the CGI wolf you. 

Booboo Stewart: Right. It’s definitely more physical. So the guy I was fighting was like, two times bigger than me, so I left a pretty good bruise on him though. It was him attacking me and I had to block so I wasn’t really punching.
